The Museum of Romanticism hosts until March 17 the temporary exhibition on the painter Rafael Tegeo, with works from institutions such as the National Heritage, the National Prado Museum or the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Fernando.

The exhibition, divided into different spaces of the Museum, consists of about thirty works. "He is a fundamental artist in the artistic scene of the first half of the nineteenth century, and one of the first introducers of romantic sensibility in Spanish painting," according to the organizers of the exhibition.

Foreign Artists in Paris 1944-1968

The Reina Sofia National Museum presents the exhibition " Lost, Loose and Loved: Foreign Artists in Paris 1944-1968", 200 works by a group of more than one hundred artists. Exhibition curated by Serge Guilbaut and that can be seen until April 22, 2019.

The exhibition shows the wide wave of foreign artists who moved to the French capital after the Second World War, that beacme a complex artistic scene, where different visions and approaches took place in areas such as painting, sculpture, cinema or Literature. The exhibition brings together works by artists such as Pablo Picasso, Kandinsky, Eduardo Arroyo, Claire Falkenstein, Sam Francis, Mohammed Khadda, Lolo Soldevilla, Nancy Spero, Pablo Palazuelo, Roberto Matta, Rufino Tamayo, Ed Clark, Sao Wou-Ki, Karel Appel or Shinkichi Tajiri among others.
