National Museum of Underwater Archaeology

The aim of this museum is to conserve, divulge and exhibit Spain's Maritime Heritage.

It conserves and displays archaeological finds related to maritime traffic dating from Phoenician times through to the Punic, Ancient Greek and Roman epochs, up to the end of the eighteenth century.
The museum also houses treasures from the Americas recently recovered from the Mercedes frigate.
