Saint Felix Basilica
Built between the twelfth and seventeenth centuries, this church was the main place of worship before the construction of Girona Cathedral.
It shows three different architectural styles: a Romanesque sanctuary, Gothic naves and rooftops and a Baroque façade. Inside, the Basilica boasts eight Roman and early Christian sarcophagi from the third and fourth centuries as well as a sculpture of the reclining Christ, by the Catalan master Aloi, from the fourteenth century.
Its castle-like bell tower stands high above the city's skyline, making it one of the area's most important Gothic buildings.
