Located in the heart of Barcelona, this singular building designed by Catalan architect Lluís Domènech i Montaner is one of the most celebrated examples of Catalan Art Nouveau.
Built in 1905 as the home of the Orfeó Catalá — an iconic symphony and choir — the concert hall was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997. Bathed with the natural light that comes in from its colourful skylight, the Palau is an internationally-recognised concert venue.
In addition to the main hall, other spaces such as El Petit Palau and the Orfeó Catalá Rehearsal Hall also serve as venues for smaller concerts. The Lluís Millet Hall and the Foyer round off the offering — one of the most celebrated cultural focal points in the city.
