Works from the Centre Pompidou storm the capital

From October 30th 2015 to February 28th 2016 CentroCentro Cibeles is holding one of the most important exhibitions of the year, which brings together a large part of the collection of Vassily Kandinsky’s pictorial works that are kept at the Centre Pompidou in Paris.
This journey through the paintings of this Russian artist, looking back over the years and his stays in different countries, is an essential exhibition for discovering how the artist evolved and understanding what he experienced during each of his artistic periods.
This pioneering painter confronted colours and forms, giving them life in an increasingly abstract style. His delicate brushstrokes and studied lines represent a key period in contemporary art, making every one of his pieces a vital artistic testament.
